SWITCH2CE Employment Study

Conducted 300 quantitative surveys, 50 qualitative surveys, 2 key informant interviews and 3 focus group discussions;
Led the data collection by a team consisting of 15 enumerators in 9 clusters and 5 factoies around Bangladesh with a target sample population of 50% female and 50% male, 50% inside Dhaka and 50% outside Dhaka and 50% in formal employment and 50% informal employment;
The study aimed to better understand the existing employability practices in circular manufacturing, waste sorting and collection, and recycling to pave the path towards future betterment towards employment quantity and range, fair wages and economic security, health, safety and wellbeing and Rights and representation.
