- Focused on water as the primary driver for change but also addressed energy use for an integrated approach to resource efficiency to assess seven factories in the Narayanganj District;
- Provided support for the establishment of a wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) in Narayanganj;
- Enhanced WWTP’s performance through resource efficiency in the textile wet processing sector in Bangladesh;
- Developed preliminary questionnaire for collection of historical data such as water, electricity and gas consumption;
- Identified existing resource management practices (including the identification of existing input and output) to calculate unit consumption of resources;
- Visited the factories to verify those data through document review, field visit, interview and measurement;
- Analysed collected data to produce a report to include Cost of investment for different scenarios (No RECP, Low RECP and High RECP);
- Prepared resource efficiency assessment and prepared reports for 7 factories.
