Conversion and incorporation of administrative and legal procedures to finalize the Chemical Management Rule and TSDF Rule, incorporating collected feedback from stakeholders

  • Translating the draft English rules into legally accurate Bangla, ensuring compliance with Bangladesh’s environmental legal frameworks.
  • Incorporating prioritized feedback from stakeholder workshops conducted under the STILE project to refine the rules.
  • Aligning the rules with MoEFCC and DOE administrative procedures to ensure practical implementation.
  • Conducting consultations with relevant stakeholders to address enforcement challenges and build consensus.
  • Supporting 4 dissemination workshops to present the draft rules and gather final feedback from ministries, departments, and development partners.
  • Finalizing and submitting the translated and revised rules in both Bangla and English, along with recommendations for the Cabinet Division approval process.
